Hi mom!
Just thought I’d write a quick post before I officially leave on the 14th. I started my online MTC on August 19th and have been home ever since. Now I’m grateful and excited to finally be on gearing up to leave. Especially since I have already finished 2 months of my mission! Can you believe it! It has been a little weird, well Covid 19 has made just about everything weird, I had 6 whole weeks of online missionary training (learning Spanish) with instructors from Mexico. Then because of my reassignment to Charlotte, North Carolina I had to wait another 2 weeks before I get sent there. All in all though being able to be with my family for 2 extra months has been a blessing.
Also this photo is of me right after my endowment ceremony. Which was an experience to say the least! I was the first session of the day (7 a.m.) and because of the pandemic I got the temple all to myself. Which from what I have heard, is a very special opportunity. When you are in there alone it feels more personal. It was peacefully quite and serene. I felt important when all the temple workers were at the front doors to greet me and my family. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
