Hi Mom!
-In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children-
This week Elder Shaw and I lead our district to victory with the title of Liberty! As a missionary I really do not enjoy boring meetings. So as a District leader I have some executive power when it comes to district council. And this week I got to have a bit of fun (Elder Shaw ripped off his shirt) and introduced the Title of Liberty to help my missionaries find more joy in the work. It’s tied to our accountability for the week so whom ever I feel worked hard will proudly wave the title of liberty for a week!
Anyway on to the more ‘serious’ missionary work. Elder Shaw and I had an awesome week. We are beginning to get a hang for how each other think and work that teaching and all around being missionaries has been a blast! We taught like 13 lessons this week and have seen a lot of progression with those we have. But also! We have been able to find a ton of people too! In fact we carried our district with our finding goal this week (not that the numbers matter).
On top of a great finding and teaching week. Elder Shaw and I have begun working on an Easter themed video for facebook that involves the ward. We have made it our goal this transfer to connect with the ward more and it is such a blessing to be able to see it come to fruition! Plus I feel like we are recieving more blessings for engaging in a righteous cause. We have had a few really good potentials from online referrals. Were, if you are at all familiar with online referrals, it isn’t common at all.
All in all I am way excited for the future. I have heard a lot of good things about missionaries being sent back to their original assignments and we even have had a few missionaries in this mission return to Mexico! Even if I don’t leave for a few more transfers I love it here in North Carolina. I have learned so much about life and people that I honestly don’t care where I am. I know this is where I need to be.
Till next time,
Elder Service

Haha so Elder Shaw bought a sweet RC car so we’ve been driving it around a ton!
