Hi Mom!
Happy Mothers Day! I love you, and I hope you loved the letter I sent.
This was a good week. God is real, and the spirit is subtle but powerful and lastly, Jesus Christ is the coolest guy that ever walked the earth! With that said, lets talk about this week 😁!
We started this week by driving an hour and a half down to the place of my birth as a missionary! We went down to Fort Mill south Carolina to see an eye doctor for Elder Shaw because he has been seeing black dots blocking his vision. Turns out he is gonna be fine and they will go away soon! So we celebrated by buying 20 dollar sunglasses and a free meal from Southern Salads!
We found out last Sunday that Elder Shaw and I were on the front page of the local news paper! We are famous! Haha, that service project was actually a lot of fun. Afterwords we got to tour the warehouse we were in. Learned a lot about how baby mattresses are made!
Next up, Elder Shaw and I hand made our own shirts a while back with the words “Fear No Man” on them. And we told a members daughter about them and she made us way cooler shirts! We were stoked.
But that’s not all, this family has been one of our favorite families to be with. The wife has been a member for a while And the husband was just baptized this last year. We have been absolutely blessed to be able to teach them and just share each others company! Love you guys!
To close this blog I would like to say how much I detest the dryer in this apartment. I have consistantly lost buttons on my white shirts every time I dry them (which has been every week!). And today I lost 2 buttons on the same shirt 🤦♂️. Literally the worst.
Till next time,
Elder Service
