Hi Mom!
That’s another week down! One step closer to my year mark!
So, I wanted to start off with a miracle. I litterally can only describe it as a miracle because there us no way it would have happened without some divine intervention. So it has to do with the gift of tongues. I was going into a critical lesson with one of our friends. I was absolutely nervous, once again, it’s funny how the adversary works that way. Anyway we get into the lesson and I give the opening prayer and then it hit me. The spirit filled my whole body and suddenly I was speaking in tongues (well the spanish tongue 😂) I was legit spitting off sentences and throwing out vocabulary that I didnt know I knew! Then shortly after the closing prayer I could barely piece together a decent good bye, haha. Miracles are real I cannot deny I was divinely supported this week!
We drove out to meet with a friend but they weren’t home so we went street contacting near downtown Matthews which was fun. We took a lot of pictures and now yall can enjoy my wonderful face! 😋
Recently I have started reading in the Bible in Acts. I have already learned so much it’s crazy. My testimony about things like the Great Apostasy and the Organization of the Church has just sky rocketed! Peter is still my absolute favorite apostle. But, Paul reminds me a lot like Alma the younger. For me what makes their stories so cool is the amount of power their conversion had on their lives. They both became stellar missionaries. Missionaries who I can’t help but look up to.
Still loving the work and can’t wait to see what’s next, haha, tune in next week to find out more on “The Service Life” 😎.
Till next time,
Elder Service
